Agendas and the Changing Nature of Flood Risk Management:
On the September 16th 2010, a conference on Neoliberalisation and the changing
nature of flood risk was held at the University of Hull
Over 40 people attended and the workshop featured presentations of work on
English flood risk management, including the Yorkshire floods of 2007, involving the
team from Hull and a team from Lancaster Environment Centre who have been
working on the 2007 Hull floods. There was also a plenary sessions from Ben Wisner,
an international expert of risk and natural hazards.
