Hi Tom, Does the "max duration time" in the numerical tab have to be the same value as the amount of time steps in the input hydrology file? If it's longer, does Caesar start again at 0 of the input hydrology file? Or does it go on with an average discharge("initial discharge" in numerical tab)? Thanks for your help! Raph |

If you're running in catchment mode, then the max duration time should be the same as the length of the rainfall file * 60 min (as each line is an hour) Similarly for the reach mode input. In reality its probably best to set the max run time to be longer than the time covered by the input data to stop if finishing too early. Nothing to do with the initial discharge tab. Yes - CAESAR shuold start at the beginning of the file. If you are unsure - just check with a small input file, Tom |
